Check the expiration date on your newsletter mailing label to see when to renew your annual membership. If your membership is within two (2) months of expiring, your mailing label will also indicate 'EXPIRING' so you know you need to renew soon.

Being a SGAWC member has many advantages, the club newsletter, bus trips -- both in and out of Germany, pre-registration at walks, group prize raffle at monthly meetings -- some of these prizes are great, volksmarch information -- on future marches and the award system, and purchasing of club merchandise. One of the biggest advantages is German-American friendship! The club is a good vehicle for learning about our host nation.

Military augmentees are encouraged to join early in their tour and take advantage of the club's great member-only bus trips. New and current members and non-member augmentees also wander local walks with members every weekend. Wandering is a great way to see the real Germany!

The cost of renewal is 20 EURO family, or 10 EURO for singles. There are several ways to join or renew. You can mail it to:

The Stuttgart German-American Wandering Club (SGAWC) meets 1900 the first Tuesday of every month at the Schwarzbach Sportsgastatte in Vaihingen. The Schwarzbach Sportsgastatte serves good German food at reasonable prices, so show-up early, enjoy a meal, and attend the meeting. Free raffle prizes for all attending members. TDY personnel always welcome.
